WWT, in collaboration with its partners, has developed and taken in production the ‘boarding chair’ to improve on the mobility of wheelchair users.
The boarding chair is a custom-designed wheelchair with a lifting mechanism for boarding and disembarking disabled persons in airplanes.
The aviation sector puts high demands to the reliability and safety of any products used.
WWT manufactures the boarding chair in accordance with the directives laid down in the following standards:
NEN EN 12183; norm for “Manually driven wheelchairs, Requirements and Testing methods”, and
DIN EN ISO 10535 “Hoists for transfer of disabled persons”
